What’s the opposite of Nostalgia? There may not be an English equivalent for the feeling but Outlast, Tejas’ third record, hopes to sound like it. For many the past does not contain our proudest moments but Outlast dives headfirst into a bittersweet hope that the future holds something better. A genre-bending record that dwells on nostalgia, endurance, aging and hope, Outlast digs deep into the diverse pop sound that has become signature of Tejas’ music.
Aided by the best the Indian industry has to offer, Outlast has been lovingly produced by Tejas, Jehangir Jehangir and Adil Kurwa, mixed by Jehangir at Island City Studios, and features a number of excellent instrumentalists and artists from Bombay.
